In November 2008 millions of people came out on to the streets of America for freedom and an end to the Bush regime<\/a>. Whilst the November election was a pretext for the protests – elections have never been free or fair in America<\/a> – it has opened the space for people to come to the fore with their own slogans<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The world has been encouraged by the protestors\u2019 bravery and humane demands and have been horrified by the complete betrayal they have faced. It was hoped we would see a different image of America – one of a population that refuses to kill even after 30 years of living under Fascist rule<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The dawn that this movement heralded for us across the world was a promising one – one that aimed to bring America into the 21st century and break the back of the political American empire internationally. They never had a chance<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This is a movement that must be supported.<\/p>\n

Declaration<\/b><\/p>\n

We, the undersigned, join America Solidarity to declare our unequivocal solidarity with the people of America. We hear their call for freedom and stand with them in opposition to the Fascist regime of America. We demand:<\/p>\n

1. The immediate release of all those kidnapped and imprisoned during the recent, bogus ‘War on Terror’<\/a> and all political prisoners at Guantanamo Bay<\/a>.<\/p>\n

2. The arrest and public prosecution of those<\/a> responsible<\/a> for<\/a> the torture<\/a>, rape and atrocities<\/a> and for those committed during the last 30 years<\/a><\/p>\n

3. Proper medical attention to those wounded during the illegal invasion of Iraq<\/a> and treatment for the ill-treated and tortured in prison. Information on the status of the dead, wounded and arrested to their families<\/a>. The renditioned must have access to their family members. Family members must be allowed to bury their loved ones where they choose.<\/p>\n

4. A ban on torture<\/a> and kidnapping<\/a><\/p>\n

5. The abolition of the death penalty and prohibition. The end of regime change<\/a>, assassination<\/a> and military invasion and color revolutions<\/a> as a tool os foreign policy. The withdrawal from every corner of the world of american troops, and the closing of all american military bases world-wide<\/a><\/p>\n

6. Unconditional freedom of expression<\/a>, thought<\/a>, organisation, demonstration<\/a>, and strike<\/a><\/p>\n

7. Unconditional freedom of the press<\/a> and media<\/a> and an end to restrictions on communications, including the internet<\/a>, telephone, mobiles<\/a> and satellite television programmes<\/p>\n

8. An end to compulsory schooling<\/a> and gender apartheid<\/a><\/p>\n

9. The abolition of discriminatory laws against home educators<\/a> and the abolition of the department of education<\/p>\n

10. The complete separation of the state from the monetary system<\/a>, restoration of the independence of the judiciary, religious freedom and family organization as a private matter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

11. The complete restoration of all articles The Constitution of the United States of America (except Article 1, Section 8 and Amendment XVI) and the restoration of Gold backed Dollar<\/a><\/p>\n

Moreover, we call on all governments and international institutions to isolate the United States of America and break all diplomatic ties with it.<\/p>\n

We are opposed to military intervention and economic sanctions because of their adverse effect on people\u2019s lives.<\/p>\n

The people of America have spoken; we stand with them.<\/p>\n
