Small cube shaped rooms, small because they have to pack in so many offenders.<\/li>\n<li>&#8221;Mutie Pens&#8217;: places where they keep mutants. Obviously.<\/li>\n<li>&#8216;Lawgiver&#8217; a judges gun.<\/li>\n<li>Surveillance: pervasive.<\/li>\n<li>International enemies. Of course, &#8216;East-Meg&#8217;, &#8216;Sov-City&#8217;, the rival Megacities in the east.<\/li>\n<li>War? of course, fought with TADs (Total Anihilation Devices) naturally.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Judge Dredd and all of the Judges in Mega-City 1 were policemen and judges folded into one, who rolled around on huge motorcycles fighting crime, and dishing out harsh sentences to criminals on the spot.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/upload.wikimedia.org\/wikipedia\/en\/0\/0f\/2000AD168.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Its painfully obvious that these people used to read 200AD. The idea of judges dispensing instant justice, the &#8216;Apocalypse War&#8217;, the whole lot comes straight out of a John Wagner \/ Brian Bolland page.<\/p>\n<p>Never read &#8216;Judge Dredd&#8217;? I quote:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;As punishment for your crimes I remove your citizenship. You will not be allowed to enter Mega-City One for ten years!<br \/>\n&#8230;<br \/>\nHarsh but necessary. Let them serve as an example.
