Using Your Loaf

General Jack D. Ripper:
Mandrake, do you realize that in addition to fluoridating water, why, there are studies underway to fluoridate salt, flour, fruit juices, soup, sugar, milk… ice cream. Ice cream, Mandrake, children’s ice cream.
Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake:
Lord, Jack.
General Jack D. Ripper:
You know when fluoridation first began?
Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake:
I… no, no. I don’t, Jack.
General Jack D. Ripper:
Nineteen hundred and forty-six. Nineteen forty-six, Mandrake. How does that coincide with your post-war Commie conspiracy, huh? It’s incredibly obvious, isn’t it? A foreign substance is introduced into our precious bodily fluids without the knowledge of the individual. Certainly without any choice. That’s the way your hard-core Commie works.

And now we have the prospect of mandatory addition of folic acid to bread and flour. The supposed reasoning behind this is the prevention of neural deficiencies in new born children, however if we look at spina bifida the incidence rate is currently 0.15 per 1000 and if my browsing is correct with a birth rate of 700,000 per year that gives 105 children per year affected which is unfortunate but hardly worth a programme which indiscriminantly affects the whole population and with a ‘dosage’ that cannot be checked. We do not ban vehicles for the larger number of deaths and injuries caused by drivers, there are road safety campaigns, likewise pregnant women should be told about supplementary levels of folic acid intake.

Aside from this there is the matter of ignoring the right of people to eat unadulterated food, certainly in the case of flours I would imagine that most people making their own food have enough basic knowledge to maintain a balanced diet with as much folic acid as would be provided with a mass fortification programme.

It is your right to be able to buy unadulterated food and that is what the Food Standards Agency should be enforcing it should not be in the business of medication or anything else.

Of course, this is totally correct.

What we have to understand is that the Food Standards Agency is corrupt. The manufacturers of Folic Acid have bribed the Food Standards Agency to get them to introduce this nonsense into the food of the nation.

That is the only explanation for this inexplicable, insane and misguided application of chemistry.

Everyone today now accepts that Organic food is better for the environment, better for your diet and of course, better tasting. That the Food Standards Agency is bucking against this, in a most hideous and stupid way proves that they must have been compromised by bribery and corruption. As you say, in a sane world, the Food Standards Agency would exist to make sure that there was no impurificaiton of our foods.

We have survived for generations without tampered food. Why now, all of a sudden are we to be mass poisoned in this way? Its rather like the salt industry saying that lowering your salt intake is a bad thing; they don’t want you to stop buying and using sale, and of course, the ‘Folic Acid lobby’ wants to sell its poison to everyone by stealth.

We only eat organic food in my house. Period. Many, many people have gone Organic, so much so that the whole food market has changed to accommodate the demand.

As usual, it is the poor who are going to suffer this abomination. It is their children who are going to be born deformed and damaged. You know what they look like; strange shaped heads on crooked necks, appalling posture, stupidity, car door ears, slits for eyes….you know what I mean. You see them everywhere, and they are going to get worse with every new poison that is introduced into their diet. There is already an ‘epidemic of obesity’, but quite apart from that is the invisible epidemic of crime caused by fast food.

Is is well known that the diet of bad kids is the root cause of their delinquency. Demonstrations have been made showing that if you change the diet of these ragamuffins they transform back into human beings. The Food Standards Agency MUST be aware of this research, and by MANDATING the deliberate contamination of food, where it has no idea of what the long term side effects will be, are actually criminally negligent.

No one knew what the long term effects of fast food would be back in the seventies when it was introduced in the west; now we are all paying the price, and those of us with brains switched on, shun this poisonous pabulum. Adding Folic Acid to food is DANGEROUS, unnecessary and criminally insane.

The whole thing stinks of a monumental case of bribery:

21/05/2007 – The decision by the UK’s Food Standards Agency to recommend mandatory fortification of either bread or flour with folic acid has met with a positive response, both from the bakery industry and medical researchers.

The board of the government agency unanimously agreed on Thursday to recommend mandatory fortification of some foods with folic acid. This followed a final consultation with stakeholders and support from the FSA’s Scientific Advisory Committee on Nutrition (SACN).

It has not yet been decided whether folic acid will be added to flour or to bread – that decision will be made at next month’s board meeting, as will the advice formally issued to health ministers thereafter. But in the meantime, the Federation of Bakers has signalled its support for the move.

The federation strongly advises that fortification of flour at the milling stage is the most viable solution.

“We have worked closely with the FSA up to now and welcome further discussions to reach a practical answer to the logistics of introducing folic acid into flour,” said federation director Gordon Polson.

The federation’s positive viewpoint differs wildly from that of bakers in other countries where parallel measures are being considered to reduce the numbers of pregnancies affected by neutral tube defects.

In Australia and New Zealand the proposal has been strongly opposed by both large bakers and smaller firms, especially organic bakeries. The baking industry claims the proposal ignores both up-to-date information on women’s current diets as well as adequate knowledge of the risks to others in the population from consuming more folic acid.

There is some evidence to show that folic acid could mask deficiency of other B vitamins in the elderly, and there are also fears of the effects of large amounts of folic acid in young children.

Note how in New Zealand and Australia the bakers are AGAINST this impurification. How is it that in the UK bakers are ‘FOR’ it? I imagine that this is simply a lie, propagated by the Folic Acid lobby.

No organic baker in the UK will be for this, where are their voices? and who the FUCK are these invisible, unnamed ‘stakeholders’? SURELY the people who buy the bread and the people who make it are the only ones that count, and the relationship between them has NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with The Food Standards agency.

What is also appalling is that these animals are proposing that the impurification take place at the level of the flour mill. That means that you will not be able to go out and get pure flour so that you can bake your own clean bread, and of course, since this impurification will be MANDATORY, baking a pure loaf of bread will become a crime in the UK.

It is way way beyond insanity.
