Entitled A Weekend in the City, it’s a quasi-concept album detailing Okereke’s thoughts on life in London in the 21st century. ‘East London is a vampire/It sucks the joy right out of me’ – the declamatory climax of the album’s opening track ‘Song For Clay (Disappear Here)’ is but one of the many startling images contained in Okereke’s lyrics.

[…]

Oh, please. Teen angst poems and hideously crass, cringeworthy imagery do not make for novel insights into the human condition.

I’ve been searching for the young soul rebels, I can’t find them anywhere, where have you hidden them?
Serves me right for reading the Observer, I suppose. This poor young thing is being feted as the Dylan for the Blair generation, and will have his face crushed into the mud when the stampede for the next, next DFTBG happens.

Guardian reports:

A new contract between the state and the citizen setting out what individuals must do in return for quality services from hospitals, schools and the police is one of the key proposals emerging from a Downing Street initiated policy review…

Even from the beginning this is yet more topsy-turvy posturing from the Government. Once an individual has paid for State services they should be provided to anyone entitled without qualification.

[…]

The aim is to build on the government’s rights and responsibilities agenda, and papers released yesterday by the Cabinet Office speak of seeking “a new more explicit contract between the state and the citizen on agreed public outcomes”.

Explicit Contract? Well literalism is always the touchstone of the stupid, inept and authoritarian. But again it would not be individuals driving legislation/writing the contract it would be government definitions of rights and responsibilities, and we know how fucked up Neu Labour‘s ideas of ‘social responsibility’ are.

[…]

The review is likely to examine fundamentally the future relationship between citizen and state. The public service commission has been asked to consider “whether it is possible to move from an implicit one-way contract based on outputs, to one based on explicit mutually agreed outcomes”. It asks “should we be aiming for a more explicit statement of the contract that covers both the service offered by the public sector (what is in and what is not) and what is expected from citizens (beyond paying taxes and obeying the law)”. It also asks “whether these explicit and binding contracts could work not just for individuals and communities”.

The big question this raises is what happens when you refuse to sign such a ‘binding contract’ will the State ‘allow’ you to get O-U-T or will they attempt to fine/jail people into their ‘slave grid’ contract?

I think you know the answer.

Manningham-Buller must be sacked

Friday, November 10th, 2006

This article, in the independent, is full of lies. Lets go!

There are up to 30 alleged “mass casualty” terror plots in operation in Britain,

This is a lie, just like all the other lies that have been dished out about bogus threats.

as well as hundreds of young British Muslims on a path to radicalisation, the head of MI5 has said.

There is no such thing as ‘radicalization’. You are murdering the relatives of these people and that is intolerable to any civilized person, as these people are. If someone were incinerating your cousins, you too would go berserk with anger.

Furthermore, you are shooting innocent people in their own homes simply because they are brown and have a beard. That is enough to make anyone take a bad attitude towards HMG, and its all for naught.

In an unprecedented public announcement yesterday, the MI5 director general, Dame Eliza Manningham-Buller, revealed that the caseload of the Security Services had risen by 80 per cent since January, and that the counter-terrorism agency was fighting to keep the rapidly growing threat under control

It has risen because you illegally invaded Iraq and Afghanistan, and committed mass murder in those places. If you withdraw and repent, then your caseload can return to levels and consist of what it should be; keeping track of what is in people’s garbage.

Describing the scale of the home-grown terrorist problem, she said MI5 and the police were tackling 200 groups or networks totalling more than 1,600 identified individuals in the UK who were “actively engaged in plotting or facilitating terrorist acts”.

The only thing ‘home grown’ about the ‘home-grown terrorist problem’ is that it has been hatched, nurtured and hand reared at Number 10 Downing Street. You know this. If you do not, you need to be sacked and replaced by someone who understands the problem and who genuinely has Britain’s interests at heart, and who is neutral. By coming out with this twaddle, you demonstrate that you are either not neutral (another one of Bliar’s liars) or you don’t understand the causes of the rage your government is fomenting. Either way, you are part of the problem.

Islamic militants linked to al -Qa’ida were recruiting teenagers to carry out attacks using chemicals, bacteriological agents, radioactive materials and even nuclear technology.

This is all a pack of nonsense. Just like the bogus ‘Ricin Plot‘ and the more recent ‘Liquids On Airplanes’ sharade. There are no such plans afoot, and if anyone is discussing them, it’s just ‘chatter’ and nothing substantial. In any case, if you want to talk about mass casualties, lets talk about the 650,000 murdered by Bliar and his henchmen. If you address that, in public, in an ‘unprecedented statement’ with frankness, you would be doing FAR MORE to shut down the chatter that is keeping you so ‘busy’, and perhaps these angry young men would start to believe that everyone in the UK is not out to kill them.

These people, are not stupid. Do you not think that they are using cellphones and the web to flood the channels with the keywords that you are looking for? Cypherpunks used to do this to make ECHELON incorrectly flag up communications. It’s done (in email) by putting trigger words in the body of your mail. The computers pick this up and flag it for the attention of a human. This keeps the ‘security’ services busy running around chasing phantoms.

This ‘battle’ cannot be won by using an axe to chop up the bucket carrying brooms. You have unleashed an unstoppable army of people who if they are cut down, bifurcate into two fighters, each as dedicated as the original. The only way to stop the onslaught is to break the magic spell that started it all off in the first place. And you know what that means.

Speaking to an audience at the department of contemporary British History at Queen Mary College in London, Dame Manningham-Buller said she was not seeking to be alarmist, and did not wish to stir up fear.

Now we are sure. You are one of Bliar’s Liars

But she added that because of the sheer scale of what MI5 faces, the issue is a daunting one. “We shan’t always make the right choices and we recognise that we shall have ‘scare sympathy’ if we are unable to prevent one of our targets committing an atrocity,” she said.

The only atrocity here is the dismantling of Britain and its cherished freedoms by a venal, monstrous, criminal gang of lying murders in thrall to The Great Satan. Yes, a mouthful. Leaves a bad taste too.

The nature of the threat was increasing because of the radicalisation of British Muslims, she told the audience, including some as young as 16, and it “will be with us for a generation”.

They can be disempowered in an instant. The cabinet that went to war should be sent immediatly to the Hague to face trial for war crimes. Justice will not only have been done, it will have been seen to have been done. All these 16 year olds will go back to music, mobile phones, girls and everything else that they should be doing.

Its being said all over the internets. If The President of Iraq, Saddam Hussein can be found guilty of crimes against humanity, then Bliar Bush and Murder Inc. should also be put on trial, because their crimes are actually greater than Saddam Hussein’s in the thoughts of every fair minded person, and that means 16 year olds in Birmingham. If you put a stop to their indignation right now, it will not have a chance to fester grow and harden. It will melt away like the pimples on their faces. This is your one and only chance to calm them down. I suggest that you take it.

The young age of potential terrorists also made it difficult for MI5 to infiltrate the groups. “Young teenagers are being groomed to be suicide bombers,” she said. “We are aware of numerous plots to kill people and to damage our economy. What do I mean by numerous? Give 10? No, nearer 30 that we know of.”

Lies and hysteria mongering. Shameful. Counterproductive. Evil.

At the extreme end, there were resilient networks directed by al-Qa’ida in Pakistan or some more loosely inspired by it, who were planning the attacks, she said. And while the training and the guidance comes from al -Qa’ida, it was “largely British foot soldiers here on an extensive and growing scale”.

Turn down the heat and the milk will not boil over. You should know this.

Given the scale of radicalisation, this indoctrination was happening to some while still at school, she said, adding: “If the opinion polls conducted in the UK since July are only broadly accurate, over 100,000 of our citizens consider that the July bomb attacks in London were justified.”

Think about why that poll returned those results. You invaded a country without cause, in fact, on the basis of a lie. It was an unjustified act, resulting in the murder of 650,000 innocent people. In the minds of these 100,000 people, revenge for that act is completely justified, because it is in retaliation for a real injustice.

But there is more to it than that.

We know that those ‘London Bombers’ in the mythical and staged ‘7/7’ were patsies that didn’t know they were going to blow up anything but that is not the point. These 100,000 simpletons who answered those questions believe that ‘7/7’ was real, and they are basing their answers on that assumption. But you know this, because you know that ‘7/7’ was a piece of theatre, and you are, like Lord Tyrannus, holding up this bogus poll about a bogus event to bolster bogus claims about imaginary threats to further your ultimate goal.

What is really saddening is that the Independent publishes something like this without comment, without rebuttal, and doesn’t even let people comment on this garbage at their shitty website.

They have grand single issue covers “It’s the War Stupid” (or should that have been “It’s the Stupid War”??!!) and then inside, they revert to the ordinary, very stupid, twentieth century newspaper style, where they act as mouthpiece to whoever has the fistful of fivers and a good PR firm, printing the drivel verbatim.

Shame on you!

BBQ Bias and Bastardy

Thursday, October 26th, 2006

The anonymous cowards are at it again at BBQ, this time with a completely biased, PR pumped piece promoting Biometrics.

This ‘guide’ says everything that is not important about Biometrics in the present context and leaves out everything that is important, i.e. the databases that will be used to abuse you should you be fool enough to ‘enroll’.

Lets take it apart piece by piece:

Biometric technology uses computerised methods to identify a person by their unique physical or behavioural characteristics.

Developments and uses have increased with demand to match concerns over international, business and personal security.

Biometrics is more personal than a passport photo or Pin, using traits such as fingerprints, face or eye “maps” as key identifying features.

Uses range from building access and laptop security to identity cards and passports.

However, there are concerns about the storing of biometric data and its possible misuse.

There are concerns are there? Do tell. There are no sidebars for related links on this evil piece of propaganda; that is because it is a piece of propaganda, and not a news item. They don’t want you to think about the implications of being fingerprinted and then stored in a database that every jobsworth in this land will be able to query.

Note how they left out the uses of Police identification, and the history of fingerprinting as being for criminals. which is exactly the sentiment that they are trying to overcome.

Each one of the leafs in this vile document has a pathetic disclaimer attached to the bottom. These are not there to provide the much vaunted BBQ ‘balance’ but exist merely so that when (if) anyone bothers to complain to BBQ about this brazen piece of paid for PR, they can point to these weak, near meaningless lines as proof that they are giving ‘both sides of the story’ . Its pure tosh of course, and these vermin, the unnamed animals that authored this are fully aware of what they are doing – pushing a single point of view on behalf of HMG and the vendors that want to fleece the entire population.

A brief glance at the face is enough for most people to identify one another. Face recognition technology can be just as swift.

2D face recognition involves making a unique template from measurements between key points on the face.

This can be done from a live image or from a clear photograph – a method being used with the issue of new biometric passports in the UK.

Face recognition is being used by some authorities to scan crowds to identify suspects whose faces have been logged on a database.

However, some of the technology may be easy to fool through ageing or face coverings and there are privacy concerns over surveillance uses.

You see? Seven words as a disclaimer. Not on any level is that ‘balance’ not even numerically. But we all know that the BBQ is biased, and actually, I don’t have a problem with it being so; what I detest is that they force you to pay for them to lie to you, and then they claim that they are not biased at all. That is beyond evil.

There are some great Flash explainers in there. Pity no one there had the guts to make one of them describing how once you are in there, you cannot get out, and how every time these systems are put in place, they are always abused by governments, and that these systems are indeed, the hallmark of a totalitarian state.

Iris scanning measures patterns on the coloured part of the eye – the iris.

The tissue has a unique pattern of markings which does not change and is different for each eye.

Iris scanners read from the outer edge towards the pupil, detecting and plotting the markings.

Data is saved and stored within a chip, on a passport or ID card for example, which will be verified when the eye is scanned in future.

While iris scanning is fast and accurate, its accuracy can be affected by objects obscuring the eye and may not be suitable for people with cataracts.

Not even a moral objection, just a technical one. Pathetic.

Using fingerprints is the oldest method of identification.

In the digital world, the fingerprint is electronically read by a sensor plate.

The corrugated ridges of the skin are non-continuous and form a pattern that has distinguishing features, or minutiae.

The minutiae can be plotted and joined up to form a template that can be stored and compared against fingerprints in the future.

Some readings may be affected by fingerprints that have been damaged through injury and some sensors may not be able to read fingers that are too wet or too dry.

Yet again, another technical objection. Nothing about humiliation, degradation, violation, databases, fallibility, an the fact that this whole scheme will not solve a single one of the problems fraudulently touted by that subhuman adulterer Blunkett and his Elephant eared swine of a colleague. That is who you are in service to, BBQ anonymous intellectual cripples; those are your masters, and you will burn in HELL for serving them.

Finally we end with a pitiful glossary:

Identification/One-to-many: Sample is compared to all biometric data saved in a system. It seeks to find an identity, rather than verify a claimed one.

Verification/One-to-one: Comparison of sample with previously enrolled template to determine if from same person.

Slaps: Fingerprints taken by simultaneously pressing four fingers of one hand onto a scanner.

False Acceptance Rate: Probability that a system will incorrectly identify an individual or fail to reject an impostor.

False Rejection Rate: Probability that a system will fail to identify a registered user.

Enrolment: Process of collecting a biometric, converting it into a biometric reference and storing it for later comparison.

Liveness detection: Ensures only characteristics from a living person can be stored, read or used.

Multimodal Biometric System: A system that uses two or more biometric characteristics or sensor types.

Missing from this list are some of the words I used above, but most the important, glaring, obvious omission is a definition for the word…

‘DATABASE’

How could this POSSIBLY have been left out? You know how. This is PROPAGANDA, in full caps.

Shame shame shame on who ever produced this, and I think that they feel this shame, since they are too ashamed to put their names on it as the authors. Vile, nasty, dirty, cowardly, underhanded garbage.

If Your Fingerprints Aren’t Down You’re Not Coming In

UK Government wants to control where citizens go to get drunk. Will people start caring more about the liberty crushing surveillance society now?

Steve Watson / Infowars.net | October 23 2006

The drinks are on Big Brother.

The British government has announced that it wishes to send nationwide a previously localized program of mandatory fingerprint scanners at the entrance of every pub and club in major UK cities. Under such rules If you want to have a drink in the trendiest places in the UK you will have to be fingerprinted.

As usual this is being sold as a way to reduce alcohol related crime and weed out troublemakers. We’re all suspects now, we’re all possible criminals and we all need to be scanned and catalogued in order to save civilized society. The young hoodlums are taking over and we must all be considered dangerous in order to stop them.

The move to introduce the scanners is being sold to club and bar owners with the promise that they can stay open longer if they implement it. If they refuse that nice little earner they will simply be shut down as new licenses stipulate that a landlord who doesn’t install fingerprint security and fails to show a “considerable” reduction in alcohol-related violence, will be put on report by the police and have their licenses revoked.

What’s more, reports detail the fact that all clubs and bars that have this forced upon them, or choose to willingly use it, will be hooked up to a centralized database in order to easily share the biometric information. Access to this database will also be granted to the police and the government.

We have previously been told that it is just a matter of time before the fingerprint replaces cash and credit cards.

As a citizen of the UK I have not known a time when civil liberties have been under attack from so many angles at the same time. In the name of the war on crime, the war on terror, the war on drugs, the war on binge drinking, the war on anything the government can’t be bothered to attempt to get to the real cause of, we have to relinquish our privacy.

Big Brother Is watching… And listening and shouting and scanning and taking your fingerprints and swabbing your DNA. Lets take a snapshot of a typical day in Britain should all these things be fully implemented.

You get up to go to work and walking down your residential street you are picked up by multiple cameras within minutes of leaving your house. Before you board the tube or the train you may have to relent to going through the high-tech body screener for detecting would-be terrorists. Place your hands above your head and wait for the machine to produce a naked picture of you on a screen.

If your ‘re lucky enough not to have to go through one of these you will certainly be picked up by the the face scanning cameras which are programmed to sound an alarm when they spot suspicious behaviour, such as waiting somewhere for a prolonged period of time or just walking in a suspicious way.

Should you drop some litter or act out of turn the cameras may even start shouting at you in order to publicly humiliate you and let everyone else around you know what you’ve done. This way you might be shamed into never stepping out of line in that way again.

You swipe your electronic travel card over the reader and a unit of travel credit is deducted. This sends a signal to the central database reporting your whereabouts. You could still use cash but the fare has been raised so high for cash users that it seems ludicrous to opt for that.

Those who are lucky enough to work out of the big cities or those who drive to work will have their movements and personal behaviour monitored by traffic cameras all over the country. They will also be tracked at all times by the black box locator within their vehicles.

Once you get to work you are continuously monitored from the moment you enter the building until you leave.

After work you may go for a drink. Once you have had your fingerprints scanned to enter you may also have to undergo a DNA swab test for drug use. If you refuse you are recorded as suspicious and may even be arrested at which point your DNA will be forcibly taken anyway.

This will be added to the national DNA database which is also hooked up to the central UK citizens database which eventually will contain the DNA of everyone no matter whether or not they have committed a crime. You will not have access to this information but the government will. They may even sell the information to private companies should they wish to. The Information will be stored on the database forever.

If you do manage to get in the pub for a drink you will be able to pay for it much more quickly and easily if you have an implanted microchip. Just wave your arm over a reader and it will pick up the chip’s signal and deduct a beverage credit accordingly. A chip may also eliminate the need for an ID card, travel card, medical card and the like. No need to carry cumbersome wallets or handbags anymore!

Perhaps you will not have worked hard enough this week to earn enough beverage credits though. Oh well never mind time to go home. When you get back remember to put out the trash. Make sure the bag is not too heavy though or more refuse credits will be deducted from your allowance. And don’t forget to recycle or you could get some jail time.

Just before you turn in check your personalized cctv channel and report any suspicious activity in your neighbourhood. You can then go to sleep safe in the knowledge that you are ‘secure beneath the watchful eyes’ of Big Brother.

In the UK we are the most observed population outside of North Korea. Britain is the surveillance bench mark, the rest of the Western world is a close second. As Henry Porter Commented in last week’s London Observer, It’s time to wake up to what we have become and stop allowing limits to be put on our liberty. It’s now or never.

http://www.infowars.net/articles/October2006/231006prints.htm

Once again, the nail is hit right on the head.

But…

WHAT ARE YOU PROPOSING TO DO ABOUT IT?

We can sit down and write about this until the end of time (not too far away now ay?) but it will change absolutely nothing. In the past, people made careers out of being in opposition. Lets be absolutely clear; I am NOT one of these people. I do not enjoy or endorse or agree with the idea of an ‘underground’ or ‘resistance’. I do not want to spend time paying the price of eternal vigilance for freedom. There are simply some things that I will not do, by default and so all these measures do not apply to me. But I digress.

As we can see, despite all the blathering and warnings spread all over the country, England is being turned into a police state. Once again, what are you going to do about it? I mean, what personally are you going to do to stop this fingerprinting abomination from spreading to every pub in the land?

Are you going to:

  • Write to every publican?
  • Write to the breweries that own the pubs that are not free houses?
  • Write to CAMRA and every other beer association, asking them to contact all of their members?

Those are for example. If you are not willing to do this, or to even suggest that this should be done whenever you write an article, then you are part of the problem, whoever you are, when you do not act to preserve this great land.

This fingerprinting at pubs is not the final goal. It is a softening up exercise, designed to get every drinking adult used to the idea of being fingerprinted on a regular basis. If they manage to roll out the NIR, enrollment will encounter much less resistance because everyone will think that fingerprinting is a part of ‘normal life’ and will not think twice about handing over their prints for their passport or driving license etc etc.

Business must resist this. They are proxy shearing centres that HMG uses to enforce its nonsense and butter up the public. There is no way that they will revoke the licenses of ALL the pubs in the UK; if all of them refuse to help bastardize this country, the only recourse for the government is to back down. The publicans and license holders will only have the balls to do it if they feel threatened by a massive letter writing campaign (one of the last instances where letter writing actually works; between one human and another).

That is what I propose; because the British don’t flee from their own land when its under attack from a hostile enemy, and this is a war, no doubt about it!

Radicalize Yourself

Sunday, October 22nd, 2006

BOSTON (Reuters) – Disaffected people living in the United States may develop radical ideologies and potentially violent skills over the Internet and that could present the next major U.S. security threat, U.S.
Homeland Security Secretary
Michael Chertoff said on Monday.
Click to learn more…

“We now have a capability of someone to radicalize themselves over the Internet,” Chertoff said on the sidelines of a meeting of International Association of the Chiefs of Police.

“They can train themselves over the Internet. They never have to necessarily go to the training camp or speak with anybody else and that diffusion of a combination of hatred and technical skills in things like bomb-making is a dangerous combination,” Chertoff said. “Those are the kind of terrorists that we may not be able to detect with spies and satellites.”

Chertoff pointed to the July 7, 2005 attacks on London’s transit system, which killed 56 people, as an example a home-grown threat.

To help gather intelligence on possible home-grown attackers, Chertoff said Homeland Security would deploy 20 field agents this fiscal year into “intelligence fusion centers,” where they would work with local police agencies.

By the end of the next fiscal year, he said the department aims to up that to 35 staffers. […]

Yahoo News

My emphasis.

We can substitute ‘radicalize themselves’ for its true meaning, ‘educate themselves’.

Most interesting is the quote, “Those are the kind of terrorists that we may not be able to detect with spies and satellites”.

Indeed. The people who cannot be stopped but who can stop everything are those who do not. Those who do not march in the streets for example. Those who do not do more than those that do, and they cannot be stopped, and what they do not can do more than those that do. You do remember this do you not?

ZDNet Australia says ‘Black is White’

Friday, October 20th, 2006

Maybe its because they are in the southern hemisphere, and the Coriolis Effect has addled their sunburned brains…whatever the reason, ZDNet Australia appears to be smoking crack:

Fingerprinting technology is the most reliable and cost effective biometric authentication technology but it’s not being deployed on a wide scale because people still imagine that criminals are the only ones that have to surrender their fingerprints, according to Sagem.

Users are resisting the switch to fingerprint authentication technologies because they still see the process of giving a fingerprint as somehow related to being caught by the police, according to Gilles Novel, manager for secure terminals and transactions at Sagem Australasia.

“We have to shift mentality away from where people are scared [of giving their fingerprints],” Novel told ZDNet Australia. “The problem we have faced is that people think ‘if I enrol my fingerprint there has to be, one way or the other, a link to the police’. They think criminal activity instead of their own privacy.”

Novel argues that attitudes are slowly changing — especially as people slowly realise that fingerprints are more reliable than passwords and can help increase, not erode, privacy.

“If you are an employer and someone does the wrong thing on your network, that person can say ‘it wasn’t me — someone has used my password’. But in the case of biometrics, how can you say ‘it wasn’t my finger?’.” Novel told ZDNet Australia.

???!!!

This uncritical article can only be the result of paid for PR insertion. Everyone knows that fingerprinting is for criminals, and that it should remain ONLY for criminals; free and innocent people should be at liberty to be anonymous and unaccounted for; the exact opposite of what happens when you give your fingerprints to anyone. ZDNet has just published an article that claims that Black is White.

Unbelievable.

Fingerprinting violates your privacy in many ways, which we have outlined on BLOGDIAL for years, and which the writers of a technology rag like ZDNet should for certain understand, ummm don’t they read The Register for crying out loud?

The piece ends with this:

In Australia, fingerprinting technology was being adopted by Centrelink, the government’s nationwide human services agency. Last year, the organisation decided to ditch passwords in favour of a fingerprint authentication system that would require it to purchase and deploy 31,000 finger scanners. However, the plan was scrapped earlier this year.

ZDNet Australia

[…]

Well I do declare, there ARE some sensible people in Australia!

WHY was it scrapped ZDNet Australia? Could it have something to do with the incredible and totally sucessful resistance to ID cards that smashed the Australian governments plans so many years ago?

Maybe we need some of that Coriolis Effect and hot sun here in the UK!

Henry Rollins: lots of anger and no answers

Friday, October 20th, 2006

Henry Rollins has a typical vein popping performance on YouTube. Sadly it typifies the sort of thinking that has allowed Murder Inc. to go hog wild with their plans to the point of suspending the constitution.

Rollins makes several mistakes in his piece. The first one, is that he is swearing like a sailor. The people in middle america who need to be shown the truth instantly switch off when you use ‘bad language’; indeed on Propaganda Matrix (where I found this clip) there is a warning, “Extreme Profanity” many people will not get past that to press play.

Lets go through this garbage line by line:

Freedom is under attack.

There is no such thing as ‘Freedom’. This is a childish simplification. More accurately, the american constitution has been suspended by a small cabal of murderous animals, who will do literally anything to achieve their goals. It has been done with language that even the most terrible of tyrants have never dared to put on paper.

Under attack by hysterical and well funded Christian psychotics,

Wrong. These people are NOT Christians by any measure. They are in fact worshipers of Satan.

intellectually undernourished leaders

Actually, these people are amongst the smartest people on the planet. They are evil for sure, but don’t make the mistake of thinking that they are not smart. Lord Bush might not be smart, but he doesn’t matter.

who lie and manipulate information,

true.

overfed Baby Huey coward bitch motherfuckers like Karl Rove and their suck up weakling apologists like Sean Hannity. To question authority is to be somehow unpatriotic, unAmerican and in league with terrorists worldwide?
Fuck you.

Indeed. Darth Cheney is a fat pig. As for Fox News, they are able to reach into the minds of middle america for a reason, and you would do well to find out what that reason is and then use it to put your own message there, instead of alienating them with your foul mouth. Of course, there will be people who say, “but hey, BLOGDIAL is CHOCK FULL of swearing!!”, yes, indeed it is, but the audience of BLOGDIAL is very particular, and not intended to be a mass one. We tailor the language we use to the particular audience we are addressing, and we have been VERY VERY successful at doing it.

Henry Rollins needs to put on some neat clothes and get on his knees to reach middle america. He needs to be temperate, rational and humble. Alex Jones has the balance between anger, respect and the pure facts perfect, which is why he has had a real impact on the entire world. You cannot pour gasoline on a fire and expect it to go out. This is what Rollins is doing in this piece. He is doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to face the problem head on, and is providing no solution of any kind, and is alienating the very people he needs to protect his ‘freedom’.

With even election results becoming more and more questionable, The Constitution a thing to be manipulated, ignored and frivolously amended, even Democracy itself seems to be on the run.

Election results are being fixed with deliberately insecure Diebold voting machines. If this is the problem, then you need to calmly point out that only a paper count with an audit trail is the solution. Saying that, “election results becoming more and more questionable” is meaningless. How it is being done is a matter of public record. Face the problem head on and provide a solution, or shut up.

The constitution is not being manipulated, it is being nullified by pieces of legislation, (PATRIOT, Military Commissions Act etc etc) you need to name these pieces of legislation and then call for them to be repealed. If they are not repealed, then your state should secede from the union. After that, the right of every person to form a militia to overthrow the government comes into force. This is called getting your facts straight, attacking the problem head on and providing a solution. Anything less is just pointless.

Where’s one place you can go and tell your version of the truth, rail against liars, fakes and propagandists with your own unique propaganda, sign your name to it and let the world know how you feel? That’s right, the internet. Perhaps responsible for the most substantial shifts in culture in the last several decades. There is so much freedom and potential on the World Wide Web that one is barely able to get one’s head around it.

Telling the truth is not enough. This was done before the illegal Iraq invasion, and the mass murder happened anyway. Railing against liars is also pointless. Signing your name to anything is just suicidal. The potential of “the internets” as lord Bush calls it, is in its use as a tool to organize real world mass-less and un-manifested civil disobedience. By mass-less and un-manifested I mean the organizing of people in a flash mob sense, where there is no gathering; in fact, where there is an absence of gathering. Demonstrating in the streets (as we have said so many times before on BLOGDIAL) is totally pointless and counter productive. We need to destroy the monster by not engaging with it on any level. That means getting O.U.T., it means 20AC, it means a complete shutdown of obedience. If all the people in the USA who were against Murder Inc did this, the whole criminal organization would collapse. Olberman is a blood brother to Rollins in this error; you must provide a solution and not just a presentation of the facts. The ineloquent and the greatly learned are both slaves to this monster, and neither of them can do a single thing about it because they are not thinking of this as a fire that needs to be put out. They are both like deers in the headlights, stunned spectators at the pyre when all it takes to put it out is to reach for the extinguisher.

The question we have to ask is…why won’t they do it?

Who in their right mind would to dare to regulate or charge websites to be on the internet? Who would dare to rain on a parade so fantastic that many of us wouldn’t know what to do without our high-speed connection and our lives on the internet?

Actually some very powerful forces. Telco companies want to make you pay for your site to be carried on the internet. If you can’t afford to pay, guess what? That’s right–you’re cyber history pal.

Before the internet there were other, smaller nets of computers. This isn’t a problem; your problem is the fire that is raging at your ankles and your inability to even pee on it to quench it. The internet can fix itself. The people in control of it will make sure that happens. If not, it will fissure into a free internet and the commercial internet. You will still be able to run your blog (probably text only) and do your email and it will probably be more secure than the commercial internet. As I said, this is not the issue; it is in fact, a distraction. While the internet is here and unbroken, you would be well advised to use it to its full potential to organize the second american revolution.

The Bush Administration wants major internet and phone companies to keep track of where their customers surf, all in the name of the War On Terror don’t ya know. How much do you want to bet they want the internet regulated, contained and thrown into a cell in Guantanamo Bay?

Indeed Mr Rollins. Do you encrypt your email? Do you use Windows? Do you do ANYTHING to protect yourself and your digital communications? You would do better to calm down, and spread information about GPG and all the other myriad free tools that are out there to use, and of course, use them yourself, contribute to their development and integration into everyone’s life.

For a country that talks so much about freedom being on the march, seems to me that some people want anything but. If they come for your freedom you must not only resist, you must strike back with a vengeance that will stun them. On this front, if your anger and outrage are not at the forefront then you’re already dead. Dead to me, anyway. Fuck these cowards, these traitors, these enemies of Democracy.

These people take what they want. Just like the founding fathers did; they wanted ‘freedom’ and they engineered a revolution to get it. These people want Nazi style total control, and they are doing what they need to do to get it. They have perfectly gauged the public mood (total apathy) and are forging ahead with their plans. You have to admire their balls.

You say, “if they come for your freedom”. They have already come for and stolen your ‘freedom’ you imbecile, and your suggestion that people ‘resist’ is absolutely meaningless. Striking back with a vengeance that will stun them is is also nothing but a hollow phrase.

Without specific instructions or plans and a concrete goal, you will be wiped off the face of the earth, and no Mr. Rollins, and Olbermann, you will not be taken off to ‘Gitmo’ (Guantanamo Bay you habitually abbreviating simpletons), you will in fact be bussed off to one of the six hundred american concentration camps that are currently staffed and waiting for you and your ranting swearing gunless tattooed bespectacled cohorts.

Never relent.

Old News….

The concept of never being able to carry a liquid on a plane again has me rapt with JOY! I feel… I feel… so SAFE. I hope the next step is to have built-in stomach pump SECURITY TECHNOLOGY at airports. Crazy, you say? No, YOU’RE crazy. Everyone has terrorist-sponsored deadly HYDROCHLORIC ACID in their stomachs, PERFECT to bring down an entire plane in a flaming horror going straight to hell. With this new deadly STOMACH ACID PLOT, even your very NEIGHBOUR could be the terrorizer!! Be sure to report their every move to your local police station, ESPECIALLY if there’s a tree involved.

ALRIGHT. Is that fear boiling pretty good now? Ready to be manipulated? Yeah? Okay, here we go:

Airport ban on carrying liquids is permanent, warn security chiefs

Barrie Clement / London Independent | August 25 2006

The 200 million passengers who pass through British airports each year will face high levels of security “permanently”, senior government officials say.

Passengers will be ban-ned from taking liquids bought outside the security screening zone on an “enduring basis”, security experts at the Department for Transport (DfT) said.

The officials indicated that any relaxation of the rules would depend on the development of technology able to detect all potentially explosive liquids, the perceived level of threat and the experience gained from operating the procedures.

At present, the equipment was only partly successful. “It is a big step to go from a concept that works in the lab to one that works in a complex airport environment,” the experts said.

But don’t think they want to make the technology easier to use in the airports – quite the contrary! Total success will ONLY be acheived when security lineups spill out the doors and onto the streets. If passengers aren’t being treated like pigs at a battery farm, the government isn’t doing enough to SERVE them.

The rest of this article goes on much like the bbq piece posted earlier, wait… uh… it’s a LOT like the bbq piece posted earlier… er… you wouldn’t suspect this to be a cut-and-pasted PR piece would you? Why, that would be not only SHOCKING but also SURPRISING!

But MEGA X-RAYZ are not the only helpful new technology coming your way from your friends at the airport. But don’t stop flying, okay? Because that means the terrorists have won. (wait, who are the terrorists again?…)

Necessity: the mother of all uninvention

Thursday, August 24th, 2006

The threat of liquid explosives would remain, as it was not possible to “uninvent” a threat, but the ways in which it was dealt with could change, officials said.

The mind BOGGLES at the illogic of these people.

They invent a threat, and then say everyone must suffer because they cannot uninvent what they have invented!

The comletely bogus ‘ricin plot’ is no different from this ‘liquid bomb plot’. It is a fiction, an invention, a fairy tale, a sham, a circus, a fraud, a deception, a shake-down, a fourberie, a ruse.

I’ll tell you about ‘uninvention’; the beasts who are behind this are going to be uninvented very shortly, at the polls.

This absurd baggage ban demonstrates that the Soviet yearning snakes at the helm are wiling to destroy Britain as a place of culture…without any reason whatsoever. This is hardly surprising; after all, they think that Ballet is not suitable for charity status since it is a ‘liesure activity’ and not an art. Classical music? Like private schools, its for the elite only, not fit for charitable status and should be banned altogether.

This is the true nature of the unimaginable beasts that have taken over this country. They have now locked all fine instruments into Britain and locked out all fine instruments. This means that if Hélène Clerc-Murgier wants to come here with her instrument, she cannot. It means that all classical musicians in the UK cannot get out with their instruments.

This is total insanity.

For years people have been threatening to blow up planes…and sometimes they got away with it. At no time did anyone ever suggest that everyone everywhere should be penalized due to the actions of a small number of people, and that was in the days when the threat was not manufactured; in the days of the Red Brigade, Baader-Mienhof, and Carlos ‘The Jackal’ . Are we now supposed to cower like dogs because a couple of bearded STUDENTS chat about ‘bombz’ on teh internetz?

Come on!

A Home Office radio commercial publicising a child protection website has been banned because it could have led people to pornographic material. The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) said the advert could not be broadcast again in its current form.

The website advertised, thinkuknow.co.uk, advises children on how to stay safe online.

But a listener who misspelt the address found a series of links led her to adult porn websites.

[…]

The Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP), which has now taken over the radio campaign, said the pornographic material was at least four clicks away from the misspelt web address. […]

Not since the Social Democrat Party collapsed after a false start has a major political party in this country fallen from grace so shamefully. 1997’s ‘love in’ between England and New Labour began in good spirit, with the prospect of a justifiable Blair victory to balance out two decades that had already seen two long Conservative leaderships. A full house at Westminster enjoyed ‘spin politics’ at its best, skewed, indulgent and controlled – but nothing in the Chamber was as extraordinary as the way the trust ended outside it.

When one Minister, Peter Hain, applauded Blair’s first five years after admitting that the agenda had been tampered with, an upset and angry UK population worked on until tea. Even then their failure to refuse to pay taxes promptly allowed a chaotic display of aggression, in which first the US and then the UK governments appeared to order air strikes in Iraq. A country that prides itself on the spirit of fair play was plunged into a sad and resentful disharmony. This may have bitter consequences for both politics and international relations in this country.

Last year the black clouds gathering over The Oval Office mirrored the mood of the 20 UK and 22 US politicians inside it. The bewildered faces were not sure whether there would be a Middle East to exploit today – only later was it confirmed that the oil was secure and had been awarded to ‘The Coalition’. Past bad blood between Iran and the US sides had boiled over to produce an inexplicable stand-off: no evidence had been produced to support the suspicion of nuclear weapons.

The Police Complaints Commission remained silent on the policing issues last night. Labour insist that their protest at judges’ leniency was intended to be a brief and token one, but a dispute that began within the Cabinet ended with Mr Blair and his colleague, John Reid, refusing to rescind bad legislation. This turned an incident that could have been resolved into a childish and destructive stand-off. The dispute was not between the police and muslims, which should allow the forthcoming one day melas to continue. But it can only fuel the alienation felt by some British Muslims at a time of great strain.

Today all flights should have continued, with the lost time being made up – it is now clear that is not going to happen. In due course Mr Reid and his fellow officials should be asked to present their evidence to the public.

Today, Brown is predicted for the leadership and the man might in any case prove to be a washout. However, it is a shame that Blair’s pride, rather than necessity has brought the party to unnatural legislation.

Stop collaborating: LISTEN. Aye he’s back with a brand new deception.

A system for the “positive profiling” of European airline passengers is to be urgently explored in response to last week’s alleged airline terror plot, European interior ministers meeting in London agreed yesterday.

The home secretary, John Reid, insisted that the new system, which would affect all domestic and international flights in and out of Europe, would not involve screening by religion or ethnic background but would be carried out well in advance of flights based on biometric checks – electronic eye or facial scans.

NO

This would not address anything – you can no more identify a potential terrorist through ‘biometric information’ than you can by what brand of breakfast cereal they eat. This sort of data rape serves only one purpose and that is for the (EU) State(s) to aggregate information on individuals in any/every manner possible. It would be a sickening and wicked deception that would have nothing to do with amending the UK’s foreign policy (nor the interim measure of improving targeted investigations against suspected terrorists) and would simply be an outrageous use of tax payers money that subsidises the Government favourite lobbying companies.

We have been through the arguments so many times that they practically never leave the front page.

For this sort of thing to stop the people of the UK must STOP.

(So where is the rebuttal of Reid’s tripe in the Guardian story? And I’m not talking about the easy option of reporting ‘potential’ racial discrimination)

“Key Terror Clues Found 10 Days Ago “… Say what?

Saturday, August 12th, 2006

(CBS/AP) As investigators continued to search the homes of suspects connected with a plot to explode U.S.-bound jetliners, officials tell CBS News the most critical evidence was discovered about 10 days ago when British intelligence agents secretly broke into one residence and found the bomb-making material — both the liquid ingredients and the detonators.

Officials are trying to keep details about the bombs secret in order to prevent other terrorists from copying the design, reports CBS News national defense correspondent David Martin.

But the director for Homeland Security made it clear Friday that these devices have never been seen before.

“We’re going to reengineer what they’ve done. We’re going to see how that differs from things we’ve known about and how it’s the same,” Michael Chertoff said.

The so-called “sneak and peek” job that uncovered the bombs was the beginning of the end game for an investigation that began with a tip from a member of Britain’s Muslim community in the wake of last summer’s subway bombings.

One of the suspected plotters was tracked to Pakistan, where he apparently met with a man named Rashid Rauf, who both U.S. and Pakistani officials say has links to al Qaeda, Martin reports.

Rauf allegedly directed the bomb plot from Pakistan and sent at least one message urging the plotters in London to push ahead more quickly.

Officials say they don’t know whether Rauf was the ring leader or simply a go-between who relayed instructions from senior al Qaeda operatives.

Also Friday, British authorities identified 19 of the 24 people arrested in connection the alleged plot and froze their assets, while investigators probed their movements, backgrounds and finances.

Many of the names released by the Bank of England, acting on an order from the government, were of Muslim origin, many of which are common in Pakistan. The suspects ranged in age from 17 to 35.

Authorities said Thursday the plot would have caused “mass murder on an unimaginable scale.” At least one of the 24 people arrested was reportedly a woman with a small child; another was a convert to Islam.

The Metropolitan Police said late Friday that one of the 24 people was released without being charged.

Police did not identify the person who was released, nor did they say if the person remained a suspect. Twenty-two of the others had their detentions extended through to Wednesday. The final person’s detention hearing was delayed until Monday, but the suspect remained in custody.

In Pakistan, authorities arrested five people, bringing the total number of suspects held there to seven. A Pakistani official said the five Pakistanis were believed to have been helping two British citizens who were taken into custody there a week ago.

Investigators, describing a plot on the scale of the Sept. 11 attacks in the United States, said the attackers planned to use common electronic devices to detonate liquid explosives to bring down as many as 10 planes.

The bombs were to have been assembled on the aircraft apparently with peroxide-based solution and everyday carry-on items such as a disposable camera or a music player, two U.S. law enforcement officials told The Associated Press on Thursday. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because Britain asked that no information be released.

A U.S. law enforcement official in Washington said that at least one martyrdom tape was found during ongoing raids across England.  […]

So.

They burgled the houses of these people TEN DAYS AGO, and then set off the drama over a week after they entered the houses of the suspects, with posession of all the facts in advance.
That means that everything that occured on the tenth was not only totally bogus, unneeded and arbitrarily executed to cause painc, but that the whole trail of evidence is contaminated, were the normal rules of evidence in play. It is now clear that the new M|5  ‘threat  level’ system is nothing more than a tool to whip up hysteria and disruption on demand…a panic button.  They have had over a week to fabricate whatever they want….but I digress….

Even if the whole scenario is true, the purpose of these ‘security forces’ is to preserve ‘our way of life’ by thwarting any bomber, and allowing people to travel, live work and eat normally. What they have done instead, is the complete opposite. They KNEW in ADVANCE that something was being planned, raided the houses in secret, and then THEY unleashed the panic.

THEY put the absurd ‘threat level’ to critical, knowing that there was no threat at all, and that they had ALL the people in this supossed action under ‘unprecedented surveillance’.

If any of this were real, no one would have had their travel plans disturbed, there would be no new and mentally retarded ‘taste your baby’s milk in front of me’ regulations…everyone would be able to continue to do what they need to do without any disturbance; indeed, security at airports should be more RELAXED as the ‘security services’ precisely target the people who they claim are out to do this stuff, stopping them before they crystalize their plans. Obviously this is not the case. They are doing this not for the benefit of everyone, but for some other reason. You can make up your own mind as to what THAT is.
The news has been full of bollocks. On ITV they went into a lab and demonstrated Amonium Tri-Iodide as, “something they would have tried to use”. This is utter nonsense on stilts. Every schoolboy knows that it is very hard to make that substance, and that when you make it, it is so volatile that you cannot even move it without it exploding. Furthermore, you make that substance out of a POWDER and a LIQUID and not just a liquid or liquids alone. The ITV crew that made that report was criminally stupid, and doubly so was the lab guy who prepared the substance. No surprise there.

Pakistan is feeding this nonsense so that they are not on the list of states to be dismantled…or at least, so that they get pushed down towards the bottom.

The whole thing smells very bad indeed. Rancid in fact.

Last night on one of the Islamic channels available on Astra, they are collecting monies for the bombed out people of Lebanon with a telethon. People are calling in and making pledges. One woman called in and asked, “how can we buy an F16 for the government of Lebanon?”.

How we laughed!

Fake Terror Obfuscates Lebanon and Iraq Failures

Thursday, August 10th, 2006

Unable to window dress the obvious failure to eradicate growing resistance in Lebanon, Iraq, and Afghanistan—even with the mighty propaganda power of a complaisant media—the neocon intelligence apparatus has staged yet another terrorist event, or would be terrorist event.

“The 21 terrorist suspects arrested in the U.K. overnight had a ‘well-advanced plan’ to detonate electronic devices or liquid explosives disguised as beverages or onboard U.S.-bound aircraft, a sophisticated plot suggestive of al-Qaeda, Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff said,” reports Bloomberg. “The attacks were aimed at U.S.-bound planes of United Airlines, American Airlines and Continental Airlines at London’s Heathrow Airport, the Associated Press reported, citing unidentified [undoubtedly neocon] U.S. counter-terrorism officials in Washington.”

According to White House propaganda minister, Tony Snow (Job), “The president, prime minister and their key intelligence, law enforcement and security officials have been in close and regular contact. And as you would expect, he has spoken to Prime Minister Blair about these developments in recent days.”

Considering past events, including the “terrorist events” of seven-seven and nine-eleven, we can assume select “law enforcement and security officials” were “in close and regular contact” prior to this latest would-be attack as well.

In standard fashion, in order to apply the correct spin from the outset, we are told this latest operation has “global dimensions,” that is to say it will be billed as not only an “al-Qaeda” operation but other designated “global” enemies will be fingered as well.

“Last month, the global militant group al Qaeda called on Muslims to fight those who backed Israel’s attacks on Lebanon and warned of more attacks unless U.S. and British forces pulled out of Iraq and Afghanistan,” reports Reuters.

In the coming hours and days, we can expect the corporate media, eager stenographers for the neocon plan, to connect the dots—blame will be affixed to Iran, Syria, and their “proxy,” Hezbollah, through “al-Qaeda,” now dedicated (or scripted) to help Hezbollah, not that the homegrown resistance group needs any help, especially from a CIA-ISI engineered terror group.

Finally, as attention has now shifted to Muslim bad guys (either imagined or a parade of patsies), Israel will likely increase the severity of its criminal behavior against the civilians of Lebanon and those of Gaza as well, as the American public will be navel gazing video footage of inconvenienced air travel passengers.
